ATR Intercooler Mod Kit?

Hey folks,
I just the won subject titled item on ebay and was wondering if any of you have ever seen/heard of/had experience with this ATR Intercooler Mod. Kit, Part #100-24. It is claimed to 'double' flow through the IC. I have a ATR catalog from 1999 and while their 'IC scoop extender' and 'radiator Pressurization kit', and 'Deflector' (which keeps hot rad. air from recirc.ing thru the IC scoop) are all in there, I could find nothing like what I just bought. For the price, I'm thinking I couldn't have done too bad. Have a look:

Kinda hard to tell in the package but it reminds me of a shroud that I've seen that boxes in the stock intercooler fan to make it pull more air through the core.

I guess you're going to have to be like a kid at Christmas. You're just going to have to wait to open it and see what you've got. :smile:

Well, I guess I'm the proud owner of the extra-super-rare ATR intercooler mod kit? Hard to believe nobody's seen this thing. I guess I'll share the info when I get it.... Doubles the flow??? hmmmm....

it's all good

anything that puts more cool air throught the intercooler has to be a good thing:biggrin: Especially for that price....I missed that one on ebay, or I might have bid against you LOL. Actually I was thinking about getting some Dynamat and wrapping the upper part of the intercooler schroud behind the radiator. Let us know how it turns out. Maybe worth a lb or 2 more boost.
