Would the back of the intake(under the coil pack) be a good location for the sensor...no negative effect? How would this compair the in the uppipe?

The best place is in the up pipe, since in the intake the temperatures tend to read higher, due to heat from the aluminium itself. The speed density fuel calculation is based on ATS temperature, so the more accurate you can be , would be better.
