I recently purchased my first Grand National after many long years of burning desire. I'm trying to identify the specific turbo that is is using, and was hoping for some help from some of you all. The seller listed it as a "PTS 73." My research turned up the previous seller's add from 2002 and they also listed it as a "PTS 73." Looking at the turbo, I can see the turbine housing stamped with "PRECISION" so I take that to indicate it is from Precision Turbo and Engine, hoever, they do not list a "PTS 73" on their website. I'm also including a few pics of the turbo, hoping someone can point me into the right direction for specific info.

Thanks

Well the exhaust housing is from Precision... its a big turbo.. looks like a pt70 or bigger

thats a regular TO4E housing. Its impossible to tell just looking at the outside.

Depending on when it was made, precision has etched or stamped the configurations on the turbine housing surface (covered by the downpipe flange) and on the compressor discharge (covered by your intercooler hose)

Either these numbers, or physically measuring the wheels, will show what kind of turbo it is. Anything from a TE44 (small upgrade) to a TE64 (a pretty big one) can be put in that housing.
