Hey Cleaner, its hard to judge when street racing. Who's to say he didn't punch it a second quicker than you did. I hear lots of people with slow cars say how they kept up to a high 12s car, and maybe they did, because buddy pucnched it alot later. Only the track can tell you where your at.
As for the Mustang GT, my buddy took his 01 to the track 2 weeks ago and ran a 14.1 and there was another guy there that ran a 13.8. Conditions vary, some tracks are different, other people can't drive. Lots of factors.
