aussie needing turbo help on3.8

Hi Guys, been a memeber on here for years and love the buick scene you have but we dont.
I,m just about to embark on my first ever turbo 3.8 combo.
Its only a very mild 3.8...small cam and light clean up of head ports only.
A good mate has a brand new garrett turbo forsale down here that was meant for his v8 lexus 4.0l and just want to know if it is in anyway useful for me.

Garret with .72 ar front...and a split 1.15 rear!!!!
Front wheel is 68mm.

Minimal info i have but all input would be very greatfully accepted.

You will have to give a little more information, the year of your vehicle, whether i/c'd or not would help. Doesn't appear to be enough info on the turbo to make an educated guess.

What kind of 3.8? An older one or a series II?

68mm inducer is a pretty decent size compressor. Is that the major wheel dia or the inducer dia?

its a vp commodore 3.8 series 2 engine...never produced in the states i,m guessing.
And the 68mm is the outside dia of the front wheel in it beatav8.....any input would be greatly appreciated.
I realise its a large turbo just not sure if a little 3.8 with minimal work will shift enough air to use it.

Ohhh and it is intercooled...chipped and larger injectors...and running 044 bosch pump..
