auto shifting at 5000 rpm

My trans is auto up shifting at 5000 rpm WOT, should it be shifting higher at say 5500-5800. If 5000 is normal what is a good performance shifter that will fit nicely in factory center console.

Do no touch the TB cable or take out the governor to modify it, if your trans guy knows what he is doing he will change the valve and spring inside the valve body that controls WOT without chaning your Light throttle drivability, my trans guy didd it and it worked beautiful.
