Axle tubes leaking at spot welds

Strangest thing I've ever seen. Differential is leaking at the spot welds where the axle tubes go into the center section. The tube joints are dry. Any ideas as for what to use to seal them? Odd that they became porous....

I don't see why you couldn't smear some RTV on the welds.

Unless you had the axle tubes welded, they aren't welded from the factory. I just welded mine together. If you plan on running 10's or better you need to get your axle tubes welded to the rear end center section.

Leaking at the welds?That doesn't sound good.I'd get that checked out pronto.Do not push to hard until it gets properly checked.

Thanks! Yes, it's a concern of mine as well. This winter I plan to have it welded up, maybe a pair of axles too, who knows? I don't think I got enough for 10's but it's a nice thought.
