Ok i've searched up and down on the board....I need a set of 90' earlier B body lowering spindles for my car. Belltech only carries 92-96 lowering spindles...Any other manufacturers that carry the proper ones? Thx

Did u try calling them. Cause they told me they have 80 malibu spindles inwhich would work on are cars. I could be wrong but I could of sworn they said they had them.

12" brakes...

reason i needs b body spindles is bcause i have tubular uppers and 12" brakes that i'm wanting to put on the car...and want to lower it a touch at the same time without changing springs. I would rather not sacrifice ride quality and my short times at the track...car went 1.57 short time on DR's. So I don't wanna change much suspension wise..Thx

Just curious, why can't you use the 92-96 drop spindles? Looking at Global Wests site, they say you can use 77-96 Caprice spindles. Although I do kind of remember looking up the 92-96 belltech drop spindles and it saying they wouldn't work with 1LE brakes, would '90 earlier spindles not have that problem?

The GW site has information on the brake swap and it says the change will lower the front of the car about 1". This is what you say you are looking for.

Silver6, I thought it used to say it would lower it by 1" when I looked into this a few years ago, but when I started looking into it again and I just checked again
the 4th point down "The front ride height will not drop. However this combination lowers the front roll center and provides a more favorable roll axis. "

Interesting....heres the link where I found my quote :) You have to click on "Big Disc Brake Spindle Conversion Information" I've tried unsuccessfully 5 times to post the direct link

I did notice the one that says it will drop it 1" also lists the 64-72 a-body as the app, maybe the A's drop and the G's dont? The other just says 78-88 g-body, and says it won't drop, don't know which is actually correct though. Someone will have to call GW for that.

Back to the 2" drop spindles, I just remembered Robert Adams says he can supply them with his big brake kit. Might be worth getting in touch with him.

If your looking for less of a drop, and don't want stiff springs, you could just trim the stock springs or maybe a slightly stiffer pair of moog springs. Here's some more info on other spring rates.
