Anyone have install manual i tried their website it didn't work for me . My problem the column shift mechinism is not connected to trans therefore can't use extender extreme chip with Trans+.
Any suggestions.

cut the floor shift linkage end off the stock bracket leaving the mounting hole and the side with the loops for the column lockout rod , lay the b&m linkage over the stock bracket aligning the mounting hole and tack weld it in place
install the new modified bracket and install the oe column lockout rod assembly .

Here are a few pics of the shifter linkage mod...What's important it to make sure that the squared holes which go on the shaft coming out of the transmission are aligned correctly on top of each other before welding the two pieces together. Hope this helps,

Claude.

Claude, why do they even have to be welded together? Not going anywhere with the two slots.

My Quicksilver had switches for both the neutral safety switch and the reverse lights. Some wiring required.

So much easier using the stock bracket though. Also, doesn't the ecm get the signal that it is out of park from the column?

Mark, you're partially right...In theory, they should be moving together because of the slots...but in "real life", it's much stronger when the two are welded, especially at the track where the shifter can sometimes go through a little "abuse". Brian Cotton did mine...

Claude.

Yeah, probably right, will have my welder take care of it once I get everything mocked up.
