Well, I finally got a stock turbo installed on my car - I have never driven a GN w/ a stocker - and I jsut want to say, wow! Buick sure got the right turbo for the street. The turbo is always there waiting on me - no lag like on bigger turbos - be it at 10 mph or 70. My only complaint is that it isnt as loud as some bigger turbos, but I'll live
As far as a daily driver, I think the stock turbo is the best choice for fun.
Also, on a side note, I am going to rebuild my trans right this time - its slipping after 23k and very little boosting(and less than 15# when it did occur). I used jsut a local non-speed shop mechanic. I installed a shift kit and upgraded the servo along with him putting in a beefier 2nd gear band into a stock rebuild. I thought that would be enough for a basically stock GN...I guess I need to look around and see who has the most bang for the buck in transmissions...
