I just bought my car this weekend, and was bringing it home from up north. All the way through town, it was shifting fine, untill I got on the express way. I'm coming up the on ramp, it's in OD, and I roll into the gas to get my speed up. It downshifts into 3rd, I'm seeing 13psi, all of a sudden the car falls flat on its face, starts shuddering for a second. Damn, I hit the rev limiter. So i drop it down into 3rd, and push it back in OD and it shifts into 4th. This happended a few more times when I was in the gas hard from a toll booth, but around town it shifts fine, chirps em in second. The car has 37k and and was always babied, so it shouldn't be too big of a problem...right?
I bought a trans filter and fluid, any other ideas? might this fix the problem
