Bad lock up solenoid

well my TCC is bad and the engine bogs hard under slow accel and deceleration

i unplugged it from the trans and all is well now

is it bad to drive around daily with this unplugged?
will this hurt the trans/performance

just wondering what to do before i can muster up enough money to buy a new TCC solenoid


And by the way... how much is one and where can i get it?

I think they are about $50 from a GM dealer. they may be cheaper form a vender like PTS. Don't get a generic TCC or you'll need to splice wires while the GM TCC is plug and play.
