bad tranny or something else??

im just 18 years old, so im still learning about evreything, but i cant tell if my tranny is gonna take a crap on me soon or not, the throttle is so sensitive if i dont accelerate slowly it will jump into high rpms but not build boost, so im just crusing at 4000 rpm and not goen anywhere, also it feel like its over reving and does not want to shift and when it does it feels like the car is "jumping", then it will not shift unless i drag it to max rpms or i take my footoff the gas, so if anyone has got any clue whats goen on here id love to know, thanks

Might have tossed the gov. spring. Do a search it's been brought up several times.
