Bad weather down here.

This is an unusual season this year and I took a few pics of the ice we just got. I know that others may be having the same type of weather but 2 days ago it was 80 and now we're going to be below the freezing mark until next week. The pond hasn't frozen over yet but I expect that to happen tonight so I'll be keeping an eye out just in case the goats try to take a bath. If anyone has pics of their weather like this post them up. I'd like to see how others faired so far.

I can't believe how cold it's gotten here. I had to wear a sweat shirt over my T-shirt today.
I also had to switch to my winter time short pants and flip flops. Good thing I got that fire wood.

I here the guys in Hawaii have it tough too.

That's not snow, that's ice. If it was snow it wouldn't be that much of an issue, but ice is a frigging mess.

i think our high temp yesterday was -5 or so... about the same today... got 6-8 inches of snow on tuesday and wednesday, but thanks to the cold temps and 40+mph winds there is bare ground and 4 foot snow drifts everywhere..

all the lake have about a foot of solid ice on them now..

That's why Lee moved to Arizona. He's hoping to end up with beachfront property.
My house is less than a mile from the ocean and sits 6 ft below sea level.

My sister was working in Hughes Springs this week and was supposed to fly out of Dallas back home to FL Friday morning. She's stuck there until (at least) Sunday afternoon. She travels light so no jacket or coat, just a sweater...
