Yes. Probably over kill for a stock crank, though. Won't hurt, but it would work best with a forged steel crank.

i ran one on my 86 with stock crank ,
was seeing over 6000 at shifts and at traps and wasnt comfortable with the stock piece
now its on my new motor with a forged crank that was setup for external
and at almost 5 bills on a $300 crank would make more sense to get a forged crank
