We will see you there Don! Myself and Rodney are going. Not taking the Pontiac this time since she is retired (and I havent had the time to put the header back in) but nice weld job! Hopefully she will hold for a while! See you guys there!

I didn't make it. I came down with a bug Sat. and didn't have the energy to load the trailer. I heard that Victor and another fello showed up and made a good showing. Turbo 6 banners and everything. Sorry I couldn't make it.

Take care of that bug, I have known several people at work that have come down with a bug recently and it has really kicked their butt.

Sorry to hear you were sick, hope you're feeling better.

But yeah it was just me and Victor representing! This was my first time at Barona and I must say I like it alot...much better than Qualcomm. My first run I got a 7.3 with a weak 1.70 60 foot. On the 2nd run it went downhill from there. An exhaust leaked popped up and was ticking down the track. I let off because I thought it was a lifter or some other valvetrain issue. When I got home it ended up being a bad drivers side header gasket. But because of that I was running like crap the rest of the day. Spooling up sucked so I couldn't launch good and my top end suffered as well....I pretty much called it quits after 4 runs.

I think Victor had more fun, he pulled off a 7.8 and even beat me. I still had a good time regardless and can't wait to go back.

Definitley had fun! Track was pretty much empty so we would go to the staging lanes and like 2 minutes later we where in the burn out boxes! Small crowd, track hooked pretty well. Cant wait till friday when its a bit cooler! Hopefully new times will come!

Friday night and Saturday night should be interesting. They're taping a Drag Race High episode at Barona Friday night and NERA is going to be having an event Saturday night. I've heard that a couple of alcohol funny cars are going to show for some 60 foot testing. They heard the track hooks and they want to do some clutch tuning. The track is scraping the lanes for this weekend.

I think the new Hoosiers will hook better than the old M/T.
Just look for the alcohol injected Nailhead dragster and introduce yourself.
