basic oil pressure info ?

need some simple basic info i will b finally installing my oil pressure gauge i would like to know what kind of readings i should expect to see or look for on the psi ? ive tried finding info on this no luck or just looking in the wrong area if there is a link or somethin can u guys help me find it or just tell me wat to look for after it is installed as far as the readings go ? thank you

My readings...

I just put my motor back together, didnt rering it or anything though. I am dang near pegging the 80 psi gauge on startup and during hot idle around 20 psi. I think somewhere around 20 psi hot is pretty good.

so then i really dont need a gauge that reads up to 200psi the 100 psi one will b enough so u say around 20 is good is that only on idle with car being warm already ? or is that also while driving? thanx for the info jerry
