Battery cable ends...

Is it possible to replace the battery ends? My battery wires look fine but the ends have been chewed up over the years and I was wondering if it was possible just to replace the ends that screw into the battery itself. Thanks!

I haven't gotten around to doing it, but I bought just the "ends" at the hardware store. I assume that means it can be done. I'm in the same boat, my ends are messed up and the bolts that go into the battery terminal are stripped beyond belief. I think the ends cost me like $2 or something.

When you say ends do you mean the bolts(are the heads chewwed up or rounded off?). You can get the bolts seperate. GM part 8917444 or down on the HELP rack at the parts store. Eric Fisher
