Battery drain with key off ?

Anyone know what the max acceptable amount of current draw with key off ???? I'm drawing 43ma right now and I'm pretty sure that's ok with key off . I did find out that if you hook a AEM inline wideband to a non switched power source it draws over 1 amp and will kill the battery . Thank God for DC clamp on amp probes , made it easy to find . Sam

43 mA or 0.043 amps is fine
