Summit has a really nice kit for like $45. It comes with 2 gauge wire. Should I opt for the 1 gauge since I am increasing the resistance (distance)? or will the 2 gauge be good enough?

probably a stupid question, but, why would you want to put the battery in the trunk? Is this a full blown race car? If not.......battery in the trunk is a bad idea......check the archives for info

It was a bad idea for my daily - back in front after it blew up. Why? no one knows but it did. Had the summit kit.

I run the summit kit. No problems at all. 2 years running.

If you go with the relocation use the biggest wire you can get.

ks:cool:

if you use the system from M.A.D. enterprizes the starter wire is only hot during cranking and the whole system saves alot of amperage and is nhra legal-matt(mad is in calif)
