Thanks for the reply. I wonder if you could explain a little more as to why the better spool than the other versions? I know it won't be close to my Te44, but what kind of lag would I expect?

What Incubus said...I had a TE44 with a 28-2900 stall and it spooled like crazy to 22psi. (it had to have Alcy ON at this point to supress detonation), and it would blow the Nittos off. I got a CPT-61 W/C Turbonetics BB from Jack Cotton last spring, You could spin the compressor wheel with your finger and count to 5 till it stopped spinning, the 44 wouldn't spin as long, maybe 2 seconds. Deffinately less friction in the BB. No other mods and with the Alcy turned off it hit 20 psi with NO detonation. Wow! no detonation.
Not only does it spool great for a bigger turbo, but it's turned out to be more efficient imo. Oh yeah, I had to get some Micky T's DR... So I'm wondering what it'll do with alcy turned ON and turned up to 25psi? Probably kick booty
haven't tried it yet. Hope to in the next month or two.
I think the BB technology is good stuff. It costs more, but I like how they work with tighter convertors, that's nice for street
I run about 25 lbs boost with my Te44 and alky. With the 9/11 converter the BFG DR's are useless from a roll and the car drives like a big block. I just don't know how big a bb to get to keep the street behavior the same and give me more top end pull. I suspect a 6776 will be a little laggy for what I'm used to.
Family is great..thanks for asking. New baby boy 7lbs 8oz.
Weather just turned cool down here and the GN is dying to go out for a spin..but as you know those diapers need to be changed regularly. Looks like the car cover will stay on for a little while longer.
