I just finished measuring my mains on my S2 block with the 1 under bearings I got.

#1 .0020
#2 .0022
#3 .0022
#4 .0035 (dont like)

Just wondering if anybody has ran into this problem and is it ok to have the block tightened up by cutting the caps and rehoning.

Thanks Rich

P.S. thanks Ron Tarabori for getting me the bearings and the cover.

ackkk. Mike the crank and make sure you don't have a wacky journal, then get it line honed...and make sure whoever hones it knows about the procedure to loosen the torque on the end caps to avoid making them oversize (as yours seems to be). On a short block like the Buick V6 there is a tendency for the hone to rock and cut the end bores more than the middle ones unless this is done.
