Bearing Shell Oil Feed Hole Mods?

Howdy,

Other than enlarging the oil feed hole in the upper bearing shell of the thrust bearing (#2) to match the feed hole in the block. Should I be worried about enlarging the feed holes in the bearing shells, especially the rear main bearing (#4) since it has a .25" feed hole in the block and a tiny feed hole in the bearing shell? In addition should I be slightly filing the rear non tanged side of the bearing to allow the oil to preferentially escape to the rear thrust face?
