I have some for my new hyd roller cam. I have heard many mixed reviews on them. Anybody here run them or have run them? What are your experiences? These will be on some GN1's using a 215/220 roller cam from FT. TIA

Hi,
GM has been using beehives on stock production motors since the early 90s. The lowly 3.1 v6 got them in about 93. Buick followed suit on 3.3L and 3.8L V6s soon after. They make sense, less retainer weight to control, and a variable spring rate,I believe. They work great with roller cams, which I think is the reason the engineers like them. This is my understanding, anyway.

I have been running them for the last 6 years and have had no problems with them.I use them in my stage 2 car with a 242 solid roller and in my street car with a 218/212 hyd roller.
