I bought an OGS Propane kit probably 3 years ago and never got around to installing it, wound up blowing up a 2nd engine and the GN has been sitting for a year. I got pretty hard into my LS1 car over the last year but the turbo bug has bit again. I'm about to put a very nice engine in and want to set up the propane kit. Is anyone here using them anymore? It seemed like a great idea at the time of purchase, can someone clue me in? Anyone in OK/AR/MO know how to tune with propane?

Adrian87 I live in the oklahoma city area. I am pretty versed in propane injection. When ever you are going to be in the area let me know and I will help out with what i can.

I'll get in touch as soon as everything is back together, thanks alot!! Still wondering why no one really seems to be into propane though, can anyone explain?

The main issue had to do with control. You cannot inject a fixed pressure amount at a certain PSI and have correct AFR. So the controller needs to be progressive.. but since we're dealing with a gas.. that gets tricky.

I always thought of playing around using the 160lb propane injector and then making a progressive for that.. that may have worked... dunno.. got to far into refining what I do.. and the direction I chose is whats working for me.

Big difference in running high boost.. and running high boost and being fast.. I dont know of anyone who ever made any numbers using propane.. I mean something sub 11 second or faster on a buick.

Point is.. try and get it to work.. make your decisions based on what the motor tells you. And dont run out of propane.
