I was thinking 17x8 in front w/4.5" BS and 17x9 in back with 275-40-17s in back w/4.0 " BS and 245-45-17 in front. I do not want to fender roll. My car will be lowered with Eibach springs. Wondering what people have done and what the most you fit under those wells was. Thanks for any info. I do NOT need posts telling me to go 18's or 16's or whatever. I'm set on17's.

SLP ZR1 replicas for the 3rd gen FBody. $550 for all four is a deal. 17x8 all the way around. With 245 45 up front and 275 50 M&H in the back with plenty of room to the fender lip. I'm going to try 275 40 on a 17x8 when these DR's wear out.

yeah...I ran a 17x8 on a 4.5bs...perfect. 17x9.5 on the back with 4.75bs was perfect as well but actually could have come out to the fender a little if you wanted...but like 1/8...not a 1/4. Each car is a little different, beware. Tire selection is best on 15, 17, and 18...so you are going down a good path.

On a 9" rim i say stick with about 4.5" backspacing,i ran 17 x 8s with 4" and it was perfect in the rears. i ll look for some pics-17" billet centerline rims.

i don't have them out yet but 17x9.5 w/4.75 bs (275 tire) and 17x7 front with 4" 235-45 tire
...i should be done in a few weeks once i get them painted and assembled.

i have this combo on the way from being made. i will post pics next week, i already have the mt et street 2's waiting.

Im running the same size tires front and back as you want to. Im running 17x9.5 in the back and 17x8 in the front both with 4.5 backspacing. The rear is perfect, the front i would have preferred 4.25 or 4 bs.

Info in my sig.

hello people; Now you learn something new every day and I've never heard of those F tires your runnin. That tire tread pattern is unique. Also Simmons wheels are no more correct?
Is there a pic. of your car somewhere showing them off?

Is anyone running a 17x9.5 with 5" backspacing on the rear?

Secondly, is anyone rubbing with 17x8" and 4" or 4.5" backspacing? I want to run 17x8's in the front, but due to the fact that I did the B-Body 12" brake swap, it makes the fronts stick out 3/8" (.375") more, so I was wondering that if I went with 17x8's, that I may have to go with a 4.5" backspacing. Basically, I am just wondering how much more room is on the outside (to avoid the fender cutting the tire). If I could still get away with running 17x8 with 4" even with that extra .375", I would do that. I certainly do not want it rubbing on the inner fenderwell either. My car is lowered with Eibachs and on the front, the Hotchkis spindle drop it 3/4" more. Is anyone in this situation?
