Alkycontrol .. check out Julio's site .. I have this system in a lot of cars !!! easy to install and easy to tune .. support from Julio is second to none .. I have been in the Buick "junk" since 1986.. Alky is one of the best bangs for the Buicks

Did anyone mention a scanmaster? A scan tool is a must for tuning. Take your time and learn your car. Despite the bickering most of these guys want to help. Ask questions and read...let the search feature be your friend...

Does the car have the factory PM brakes or a vac conversion. That will make a big difference in how you should leave. As mentioned...seat time is a must.

Marco, last time I weighed my car I think it was 3620lbs? Cant remember. I have a full stereo in the trunk too, I know its in the 3500lb range either way. The time in my sig was straight 110 fuel with a Turbo Tweak Race Chip. Open exhaust, walboro 340 hotwired. I was using ET Drags 28x9s with the stock rear sway bar! HTH

Hi Neil thanks for answering me, I would like to know if you use any light weight wheels with skinnies up front for the track?

Thanks Marco.

The day I ran 11.08, I borrowed some skinnies for the front from Quick6'n'K.C. Unfortunately. I only got to make 3 passes. 11.08 first pass, 11.16 2nd pass (spun), and 11.20 on the 3rd pass letting out at 1200ft or so. Even more unfortantely, that was the last weekend of the season at the track. The car has run consistant 11.20s with (at the time) 16" GTA wheels up front. Dont really know if the skinnies made much a difference to tell you the truth, and I didnt like the way the car felt with them on there...................... HTH

I see in your sig you lock the converter in 3rd. Its hard on the trans, but I lock mine on the line so when the car goes to 2nd gear shes locked for the rest of the ride.......... I can prove my car gained .2 and 2-3mph from it. Also, on a side note, you should try to figure out how to get your MPH up a little more. 118 is awesome, but your car should have more in it IMO. My car went 120 through the stock DP elbow:eek: Keep tuning bud!

Good grief  . I appreciate reading things like this and posts from Grumpy (Mr. Simple), because it keeps me from getting stupid. I get so tired of reading how I have to get rid of the restrictive elbow, the restrictive intercooler, etc. etc. etc. It never ends, and the more you read it, the more you start to believe it.

I ported my POS elbow, and it's staying on the car until the day the car is no more. If I miss out on .04 in the 1/4 mile, I'm pretty sure life will go on :p
My goal is 11.7's-ish anyways, I'm a humble guy with simple needs. If I become obsessed with faster and faster runs, I'll spend the fun right out of it, just like I did with my Jeeps while building to conquer harder and harder trails. I built my last one to climb over anything put in its path, but I didn't have the same fun that I did when I was getting stuck in a stock Jeep. Go figure.
