I'm having to replace my tranny and want to also change the converter while its being done. Everything is pretty much stock, but I will be going with a TA60 and 50s. Can you give me some ideas about which converter to use. Let me know what you guys are running and how you like it. Oh, I almost forgot it will be for a lockup setup.

As you can see in my sig i have a similar setup and let me tell you right now with the 9.5 3200 stall vig converter just hold on tight cause you will spool so fast you will have to alter the way you drive to not get on it as much since you wont have to. just part throttle and your a bullet.

Yeah,
I've heard great things about the vigilante's. The only thing is it's out of my budget right now. You could maybe "loan" me yours to try.

Any others? What about the red stripe. It is one of my favorite beers so it has to be a good converter right?

A lot of saving and thank god for tax returns lol my whole trans cost $2700 which isn't bad since the billet one was $2600 empty, the vig is very expensive but well worth it alone the vig cost me $968

Times?

Hey Joe - what kind of times are you getting with your setup? I'm putting together a nearly identical setup using a John Craig TE-60 so I'm shopping converters right now.

Just curious...
