I'm going to buy from one of the TB vendors smarta$$, I just wondered who had the best deal. Maybe someone has a deal on shipping or whatever. I don't consider looking for a deal on a new stainless pipe as being a cheapskate. Actually it's called smart shopping. So, I guess I should just randomly throw a dart at a list of vendors and buy from whomever?? Is that how you do it azgn?
That's what I love so much about this board. You ask a simple question and the a-holes and smartazzes shoot out of the woodwork

Hey Warp,

IME, in the TR world, there's not a lot of difference in price for the same item carried by a number of different suppliers. That seems to hold especially true for the THDP.

I have seen a THDP discounted by $30, once by Modern Musclecar, and another time by Red. There was also a TB group purchase on them a while back, with savings on the same order. And $30 is $30.

As you know, TRs are not like Mustangs, where there are, for example, several different types of cylinders heads, from several different suppliers, and all kinds of cars and buyers, so pricing tends to be more "fluid".

All I know is that the Supra DownPipe is $295,,HUH,,and here I thought EVERYTHING for a Supra was expensive...Whatv does that say for the price of the THDP!!!

Good thing I dont have a Mustang LX since those tailpipes are polished stainless and they are about the same lenght as the THDP and theres 2of them,,dam that could be expensive
or

You must never have seen the Supra pipe if you had you would know that it does not require anywhere near the level of fabrication or any of the poppet valve parts that the TH pipe or the Mease does. But you are right, perhaps since these guys that make parts for you car (a VERY small market compared to Supras and Mustangs) sell them so wrong maybe they should just quit making them <sarcasm> since I am sure someone will just step right up and make more </sarcasm> With that in mind we have 2 in stock, how about $409 for TB.com. Ok boys and girls. I asked who had the best deal. Mike Licht / Ramchargers stepped in and beat every price I could find listed by $30! I guess you could say it does pay to ask. I hope you learned something from this. Class dismissed.

This is what pisses me off the most!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think , so what 10, 20 maybe even 30 dollars more but they spend time here supporting you and time here supporting your community. Give back to them where they have supported you.

No offense to anyone and I am not saying this biased as we DO NOT SELL DP's.

However , if you must save that 20 bucks, by going to someone else off the board, I NEVER want to see you complain about jack shiit about the board once it is gone, if you refuse to support those you support you.
