What is your best 60ft on street radials? About 1.88/1.9 is the best I can do.

What "street radials" are you talking about here. I bet you a dollar my MT street radials will get me out of the hole a good bit quicker than that...

I’m talking about street radials, not drag radials. Mine are Cooper sand and snow. I know there are much faster than me, I’m just curious.

Man I bet if I left on Cooper all season tires I would be cutting a lot worse than a 1.8 or a 1.9

You must have a gentle foot, I was not born with one of those

That's pretty decent for those tires. My gn is set up a lot like yours, same turbo and stall speed on the converter. I am guesstimating a 1.7 or quicker off the nitrous, and quicker than that if I keep it from spinning.

1.89 on Goodyear GSC radials. un-opended motor, Stock convertor, stock turbo, stock injectors, stock chip, stock down pipe with a $20 cutout before the cat, K&N filter, external Fuel pump, piggyback fuel reg, 20psi 62 psi fuel WOT.
12.92 @ 108mph. in 1992. I still run the same GSC-s on the front, but now I run MT DR on the back. Best 60ft with current DR is 1.73.

On my Chevelle I managed a 1.87-1.91 60 ft. That was with a pair of 275/60/R15 M/T ET street drag radials. 12 psi of air in the tires, 396 big block pushing like 425 hp at the crank, 3k stall, 4.10 rear gear.

I bet there was a wee bit of tire smoke on that launch huh

That was a pretty clean launch! Did you leave at idle or were you leaning on the gas/brake while the lights dropped?

1.82 60ft on 225 bfg traction t/a, def. not a drag radial! the run before this one i ran a 14.3 in the quarter because i blew the tires off for the first 330ft. launched at 10" of vacuum:eek:

I drove mine on the street and their description says street and DOT approved.

I did a 1.87 sixty foot with Sumitomo 255 50 16s, and managed a 12.3. It's hard ot get a good 60 on street tires. Never did any better. Lately I'm lucky to get 2.0s on my 17" tires. :(
