Best spot for trans. drain plug?

Like the thread says, where is the best spot to put a transmission fluid drain plug in? thanks

I'd say dead center or towards the back.

Put it in the middle and the fluid will drain good if the car is level.

Put it in the back, and when you raise the front of the car (I even have to do this and I am a skinny ****) to take the plug out all the fluid is back there anyways

I put mine on th tranny pan... rear near driver's side corner Jack behind the front pass side wheel and all the fluid drains...

What's the easiest way to install one? Weld a nut on the inside?
