I run a T-49 now wanna step up what is the best 3 bolt turbo for the street/strip.

Depends on a number of things. What is the rest of your combo and what are your goals? Will the rest of your combo remain the same or are you upgrading other things?

What converter? Will you be keeping it or upgrading it with the turbo? What injectors?

will upgrade converter, not quite sure on the injectors the guy I bought the car from said they were 50's.Ive only had the car a couple of months so I havnt been able to confirm, but everything else about the car has checked out,but if I need to go bigger I will.

Ok, let's presume you have 50s and are willing to upgrade the converter. Do you have a goal in mind for the car 1/4 mile performance-wise? What intercooler are you running?

I would like to see low 11's on my dr's.Forgot to mention I also have a brand new cotton front mount that I have yet to install.

I would first install the front mount and tune the combo you have now. TA49s have been low 11s plenty of times. I think when tuned in, the TA49, front mount, Champion iron, etc. will surprise you. If you still crave more and would like to go quicker/faster later on down the road, a PT54 or TE45A (probably the limit of a "street" turbo) will do. Of course, only you can decide what is a "streetable" turbo. We all have different opinions on what we think is a good spooling turbo for the street . There are SO many turbo options for our cars now, choosing one can be mind boggling.

In my opinion, go with the smallest turbo you can since it is also a street driven car. You would probably do just fine with the TA49 or maybe a bit bigger like a TE62.
