i have a 87 stock paint gn... i have searched and read many posts about the best wax, but still uncertain...

what does anyone suggest? paint has the regular flaws and **** undercoat markings below door strips.. but hood and roof have been kept up well, and i would like to continue this ..

many thanks to any input !

If you're wanting to hide many of your blemishes I found that using 3M hand Glaze and then using a good carnuba based wax works well. Zanio is for perfect paint IMO.

Don't limit yourself to 3M or Zaino. There are thousands of different things out there.

Try www.autopia.org and do a little reading and searching, and you're sure to find something that will meet your needs.

Good luck.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Zaino makes a polish for regular paint finishes too, not just show car finishes, so it is actually excellent for original paint. I've detailed many a black TR with it and always been amazed at the results.

Also, unlike many products like Mequiar's, you won't need to reapply Zaino every 30 days.

Thanks Bob. One of these days, you're gonna see one of these cars in person and then you will be at my mercy....Bwuwahahahaha!:D
