Best way to wash without swirls

Got my car back from paint shop today and im almost afraid to touch it let alone wash it. my question is, what can i use that wont give the swirls i always see on black cars??? Just want this paint to last and look good, dont think ill ever have the money for another repaint...

Best site anywhere with respect to auto detailing. They'll lead you in the correct direction for washing, waxing, protecting, etc of any car


Best way I found (and this may vary from person to person). Wash with a good auto wash, lots of suds. I use a 100% cotton mit to wash. Rinse the mit in a seperate bucket and make sure everything is out of it before going to next panel. Wash from the top to the bottom, maybe even using a different mit for the bottom. Dry with micro fiber towels, done.

STAY AWAY FROM COTTON - If you have a high gloss finish, it will scratch it.

Use a Lambs wool or microfiber mitt.

Cotton has caused me more head aches than anything....
