The previous owners had an alarm put in, but they disconnected the power becasue it was draining the battery. Alos, I know that they pulled the positive terminal out because the radio displayed "Loc" and I had to press the mute button when I first saw the car. Okay, fast-forward to this morning. Driving to work, and it stalls on me as I sit at a light. That crummy idle stalled it out. I go to restart it, and I realize that I have no power to anything. Like the battery is dead, and I had been running off of the alternator the whole time. I checked, and the positive terminal was totally loose, not screwed in at all. Simple fix, and I cinched it down with my Leatherman (They rock!) and off I went, none the worse for wear. Sure felt stupid, though, stalled out for ten stupid LONG minutes until I found out what the problem was... I wonder what other little treasures I can find on this car...?

Dam it Jim

Robbie,

I'm sure we all Been there Done that at least ONCE , these cars are definately a good test bed for learning a little something, but they are well put together cars and pretty easy to figure out after awhile......Well good luck with it and I'm sure I'll see you at the track sometime...........Randy

Track???

I meant it in a very nice way, since I was a huge fan of the A-Team, and one day I'll get a Leatherman...If you guys are there Friday night at the track, I'll see ya...

Ah, the A-Team, home to the stupidest sabotoge stunts I've even seen. Why is it that whenever the brake lines are cut, no one EVER complains that their brakes feel mushy? What, they don't even touch the brake until they're driving twenty over the limit, downhill, with a percarious cliff on the other side of the road...?

Here's my solution - throw the thing into Park.

..that or...

..use the manual parking brake to light the rear brakes on fire so that you have a run away car on fire, close to the gas tank, going over a cliff!!!
