Do not deal with him under any circumstance

it all started with him looking for a distributor...i pm'd him telling him that i have a few. he started to complain that everyone was charging too much. i said since i have a few , just name a fair price. he said 200. i said fine.

he was telling me how hard it was to get buick parts in Estonia so i told him that i think i have an extra cap somewhere on a shelf that ill give him for free.

immediately i get pestering emails and phone calls saying to lie about the price to customs, send it overnight on my dime (to Estonia lol).

when he received the distributor, he said everything is fine except there was no extra cap. i looked on my workbench, and he was correct, the free extra cap was sitting there. the emails and calls began again and he filed a paypal dispute for the part he already received. i had a weird feeling that he was going to pull a scam on me as soon as he started the send it overnight crap.

this guy is very irritating, i would not trust him in any transaction...

Well that's what I thought.
Here's the real deal, you'll be a judge.
It started as Surej said: he PM-d me that he has a distributor. I CALLED him and said I am ready to pay him twice the worth ($200) if he ships it quickly. I also asked to send the photo. Well it took about a week, many e-mails and finally he sent me the photo, it showed that distributor was epoxied and cap was in bad shape, I mentioned it to him and he PROMISED himself to send me extra cap. I then specially requested that he would send me the tracking number when item shipped, otherwise I won't get the item from customs and payed all money ADVANCE. No answer. Tried to call him - nothing, sent e-mails - nothing. Looks like a scam to me, as I really needed the part fast then I might have called him numerous times but that's only because I really NEEDED it fast, that's why I payed twice the worth. After a week and a half I went to customs, sat there for 4,5 hours and for my surprise I got the part. But no extra cap. Wires were both broken and generally the item was in very bad condition. I immediately sent the POLITE e-mail to Surej and got an answer where he promised to ship me the extra cap on Monday (it was friday that day). I AGAIN asked for tracking number. At wednesday I sent first e-mail asking to send me the tracking number - no answer, tried to call - no answer. Guy just fooled me. After a week my patience was done. I sent e-mail where I politely told him that I will file a claim if he won't keep his word. And finally I got an answer where he basically sneered at me and asked how I can prove to paypal that he had promised me extra cap and said he don't like me calling and emailing him too often. Then I sent him simple answer: will you send me the cap as you yourself promised - NO ANSWER again. After another week I filed a dispute as I didn't get the item I payed for. I know it's easy to scam a buyer overseas and he was the first one who tried to do that. I have bought 3 cars overseas, many expensive parts etc, always have payed advance, never had any problems with any sellers (here are many guys who can back these words). This guy was the first one who thinks: "It's easy to scam some random dude in Estonia LOL..."
All I wanted from him was that he'd be a man of his words and send me the item he had promised. I never wanted a free part, I already had payed for it. I have all the e-mails with dates that can back my words. Now be a judge who's the bad guy here...

Surej, you have promised to send me this cap already numerous times, the only problem is that I don't have it somehow. You keep calling me a scam and at the same time don't want to keep the promise you gave.
As I stated before: I don't want anything free. Extra cap wasn't a gift, it was a part of the deal. So here's a deal for you (I already offered it via e-mail), I'll close the dispute and expect to see the tracking number on my e-mail tomorrow as a proof that you are the man of your words. If I receive the cap and everything is OK, then it all have been just a misunderstanding.
Btw I can easily find you many ads from the "parts for sale" section where guys have sold billet distributors for $100, use a search.
 
I closed the dispute. Let's see now how you can do your part....I'll be waiting for the tracking number as promised.

Read carefully, I complained that cap is in bad shape, it's normal that he then offered extra cap. It's not like it was a gift from the sky....
 
For anyone else ever considering doing business with Surej a.k.a DR BOOST, he is NOT a scam artist! You can read into this story how you want, but I'll tell you he is a good guy. :cool:

is a great guy to buy from and a very busy guy at that .. My parts where just as offered . No picture needed and shipped to me next day at no cost to me .. And god bless him for saving lives and giving comfort to those in need ..i would buy from him again without ? ..

Again...read carefully, I mailed him at friday that cap is missing, the same day he promised to ship me the cap at monday first thing. Monday WEEK AFTER I asked him where is the cap and he hadn't shipped it yet. I know you're a friend of him but before you start judging get your facts straight!

no need to read anymore than what i already know.

even it took a week,ok, fine. IT WAS A FREE CAP!! YOU DIDNT PAY FOR THAT CAP. IT WAS FREE. just A GOOD GESTURE ON SUREJS' PART.

LOL Mr Knowitall, It wasn't a free cap. I told Surej that cap is in bad shape after I saw a photo and then he promised to send extra cap. So it wasn't a gift but a PART OF OUR DEAL. Do I have to copy our e-mails here to make you understand this??
Now read this 3 times before making any statements. It's between me and Surej and I think he is man enough and doesn't need a bodyguard.

* Buyer tried to contact seller numerious times, in the end seller had no other way to push the seller than open the dispute(And even warned the seller a day in advance).

The problem is not the cap, but it gave Vlzman the right to open the dispute by paypal terms. The problem is the lack of will to act as agreed from the seller side.

I am more than sure, that the cap is still on the seller's table and not even sent. We will see that from the tracking if it ever arrives. And that is called a scam.

With all due respect, DR BOOST, This is not a way to treat a buyer.

I did not buy it, but I had to rewire the engine loom in 1 day instead of a planned timeframe of 1 week, since the seller was "too busy" to send the part on the right time.

The cap was just the last drop that tipped the bucket.

200 was for the distributor. he decided that price.
he paid seperate for the shipping after i got the quote.

i used a shipping office to send it. they told me a tracking number is not available but a customs number is. i dont know how customs works but it is what it is.

PLEASE POST THE PIC THAT I SENT VLZMAN AND SHOW ME HOW YOU TELL A DISTRIBUTOR CAP IS BAD FROM THE OUTSIDE. besides, it was a used dist. and a used cap!

the extra cap was completely out of my kindness.

mr FOG. if you didnt notice, the dist has only two wires coming out of it.
if it takes you 1 week to wire it up you should put down your visegrips and masking tape and leave the wiring to someone who knows what they are doing.


in about an hour you will get another customs number that i will post here.

from that point on you and vlzman can call eachother about visegrips and sausages.

for the record, the 2am phone calls in ivan dragos voice saying " sheeet faaak zee deesteebootor eez eet niice?" is what drove me crazy.

and the jackwagon puts ***SPAM** as his subject when he sends emails.


i also love the way you dispute paypal and when i gave them the customs number to prove you have it you decide that you will "be the better person " and withdraw the dispute...clowns.

I dont know how You make your wiring, but wiring is not only attaching things, but also tuning the ECU for accepting the inputs. I could not cover the wires with the corrugated thing before all was set, also, could not turn over the engine to verify spark settings, also, I could not make the right length cam sync shielded cable since the placement of the sensor wiring was unknown, Also I could not verify cam sync degrees before that. Also, I could not make spark plug wires before that, Also, the type of connector was unknown. Also, magnetic pickup wires needs to be shielded and soldered, not crimped as you suggested. So can you see the point or are just trolling?
Or a car that is set up for distributor should run without one?

No, that is Your mail server, that has a software called spam filter, that marks the e-mails by rules, and one rule is, that many e-mails that are not answered by same person(e-mail address) will be flagged as spam. So, If you would have been so kind and actually answer to the buyer, that would not happen. By saying this You have proved that you did not answer the e-mails.

I see, that you have a problem, and you try to solve it by calling other people a liar and naming them, that is fine and actually explains the magnetic pickup crimping and not understanding the e-mail system.

the ultra rare connector is called a 2 pin weatherpack connector. MSD, the company that makes billet distributors, like the one purchased, uses them.

ive used the wire unsheilded with no ill results.


as for your spam explanation, its sounds logical , but i have never experienced that before and i get tons of foreign emails.

now in the box, i have sent the cap and an extra rotor phasing cap.

It is sometimes difficult dealing LONG distances, and this is one of them. There was no INTENT to defraud or cause trouble, just an honest mistake.

You are both dedicated Buick performance guys and can certainly let this incident pass and move on, at least I hope so. :)
