Mark - no way I'd sell your GN unless someone gave you a ridiculous amount of money. I don't think that's gonna happen because many people will pay some extra bucks for performance stuff but usually won't pay for chrome and dress-up stuff. Of course there are exceptions and you'd need to find one.
I'd get the Nova and do 1 of 2 things.
1) make it a long term project by find another GN block and stuff and slowly build up, or find a whole TR car for cheap. They are around.
2) Stuff the plain old chevy v8 in there for now and enjoy taking it to car shows and work on the 3.8 turbo drivetrain on the side.
There's plenty of good used motors around. Heck, I've had a ZZ4 and TH2004R sitting in my backyard for 2 years now, looking for something to put it in. Thought about dumping it into that TTA fiasco
The cool thing about the Nova is, as you know, the car shows are loaded with Camaros, Firebirds and Mustangs. You'd have something different and fun.

Hey, you've got to do what you've got to do. Sometimes, it's time to move on. And if you've gone as far as you intend to go with the GN and there's nothing more to do, it gets a little stale, doesn't it?
Besides, you can always buy another GN down the road. And dump another $15K into it to make it like you like it - vendors love that.
Just expect to get smoked on your car - figure you'll pull about 2/3rds of what you'd like to get.
