I got a 224/224 flat tappet comp cam and am wondering what spring pressure to run? Looking at 5800-6k shift points.

Eagle crank, K1 rods, 3 billet mains, J&E pistons,PT70 turbo

I'm using the same cam with 105lbs. on the seat. Be certain that your spring checker is calibrated and accurate.

IMO all you guys are WAY light on your springs.

And another opinion is dump the flat tappet cam and upgrade to a rolller.
Those bigger profiles are a crap shoot, and if you lose a lobe,it could mean chewing up that steel crank
