Big Gun???

Who can give me the run down on the big gun shout out at BG? I need to know when qualifying is how many rounds when is the race going to happen? I have two other races that weekend to go to but I'm trying to be superman and make all three if possible.

Qualifying will begin Wednesday or Thursday and continue until Saturday. Eliminations will be on Saturday afternoon with final qualifying Saturday AM.

that sucks just what I thought its not a real race. Three days of qualifying that is crazy. maybe you should only have two rounds maybe you want have so many of the cars break and not be able to race when the time comes. My thought was qualifying was on thr. and the race was on friday? Guess I was told wrong. But it doesn't look like it's in stone either Nick?

I don't know what you consider a "real" race?

You can qualify on any of the days, but you do not have to run every qualifying round. As Conley has it planned, the fastest 8 Buicks will compete in the elimination for this program. He is the organizer of this race event, we just accomodate his plan. Contact him for details.

Richie, you can make a qualifying run or 2 on Saturday and race the same day.

To my understanding, The Big Gun shoot out doesn't qualifing rounds. LC takes the 8 fastes time slips handed to him a couple hours before the race is to take place. matches them up, and lets'em go at it.

I'll chat with him tomorrow and give ya'll the exact procedure.
