i was watching espn late tonight and caught the truck pulling series. the thing that caught my attention was the big rigs! how much power do those things make to drag those sleds 356 ft? i heard 4000 hp! i'm wanting to do more reading on this, this is interesting. does anyone know any good websites to get info from?

Funny caus ei saw that last nite too for the first time. Man were they wild!!!!! V-12 Detroits, quad turbo diesles!!!!!!! awesome!! I would like to know more about theose too

that was on at 4 am lol

i think on the show they said the blue truck (the husbent) was makin around 4500 hp

my question isnt how much hp but how much truq. that must be a insane number to pull that much weight

I know it takes about 520hp and about 1800lb ft of torque to run 16.89 in a kenworth single axle tractor. Still trying for 15s though.
