Big Stuff not tuning

About a year ago i took out my 109 motor and put in a stage 274 inch motor. The car has big stuff on it trying to tune it nothing would take as far as timing or fuel changes. headers always glowed with barely a load on it. what might be causing this?

Just wanted to thank everyone for the input. Probelm solved cam sensor was a tooth off. car runs great

That's what I said in the other post you had. I had a truck do the same thing. Drove me nuts till I figured it out.
