Big tires

I'm thinking i can get a 275 tire on 17x9 rim with 4" bs. Does this seem ridiculous, It appears I may have to modify the plastic inner fender where it bules in slightly, but frame and sway bar clearance appears ok.

I run a 295/50R15 on mine with a 4 1/2 BS when I want to run street legal radials. I did have to install the air lift bags for clearance of the outer fender wells. The rim is a 10" width. The tires extend out about even the outside trim on the wheel well. Almost worked without the air lifts but not enough clearance for big bumps.

Give me an email address and I'll send them to ya. The wheel is a Diamond Racing Steel Wheel(black gloss). I only run them if I'm racing in street legal class.

Please specify if you are both describing fronts or rears.

I think bbbad is talking about a front, and the reply is talking about a rear.
