I have looked around on different sites, but it seems that the diesel crowd and the GN crowd are the only ones who go big on meth. Has anyone upgraded from the standard 1/4" hose, or upgraded any hose to bigger, and noticed an increase in flow, pressure, or pump life? What nozzle(s) were you using when you made the step up?

I think Razors Kit uses -4an Stainless Lines, if so these are actually 7/32 ID (1/4" is 8/32 so it's slightly bigger). I don't think you're going to find anyone on here using bigger lines or needing anything bigger due to what the Pumps Flow vs Nozzle Flow but let's see, maybe there's something around the corner.

I see where you're going but in the end, no one's consuming enough to need -6 Lines and I would be curious how pressure would sustain during a run. Maybe the day a 300psi pump shows up and someone can consume all that Meth but so far, my cars not running so hot so I haven't tried it yet.

Richard from Aquamist said that they had problems above 19gph with the aquatec pumps. the 1/4" hose is only I think 1/8" ID. Rodney from AIS said that the pump can outflow the hose on the pressurized side, but uses 1/2" feed on the trunk mounted kits. I'm looking at doing it because of the tank in the back pump in the front thing, but was wondering if anyone had tried upgrading that was using 20+ gph.

Pre-pump.. not post pump :D

I've been using -6 since 2003 when I realized -4 was too small. ;)

What is the ID of AN6, and when(what nozzle, etc) did you realize that AN4 was not enough.

AN hose is based on /16th
So a -4=4/16 ='1/4
6/16=3/8
approx 450'hp on a V6
