as in 9s??? in the 1/4

you might want to list your definition of the "usual mods" because unless that list includes a rocket engine, you are going to be a little dissapointed.

to be honest with you, a 3200 stall on a te45 is going to be on the edge of what I would consider a good match. A 3200 stall and a te-61 is a good match.

I ran a 3500 stall on a pte54 and it was fun.... then I upgraded to a 71gtq it just wasn't enough. and to run nines you are going to need a bare minimum of a te45 turbo.....realistically you are talking about getting a 70/71 turbo to get those kinds of numbers and I just don't think a 3200 stall is going to be enough.....at all.

what are you currently running in the 1/4?

and what are you mods.

What is your combo???

My 9x11 is supposed to stall at 3200, I'll let you know how the TE45A spools in a couple weeks ;)

Sorry for the mix up i ment sub 11's i just want to run mid 10's someday--soon.Havent been to the track yet with new combo--p&p heads and intake(210,175),3 inch dp,3 inch exhaust,50lbers,te 61,dutt neck(havent installed the fm yet)62mm jj tb,powerplate, pte chip.stock shortblock.

I actually would be happy with 11's right now--just wanted to grow into the 10's.thats all--cause i have that 3200 stall and i dont know if the 3200 and the te 61 will get me there..
WHats the limits with this turbo?
sorry for the confuseion --9's arent in me diet....yet

thanks all Brian

Your TE61 will take you into the 10's easily. I kept my boost down to 21lbs max and I was running 11.1 - 11-2s all day. My engine wasn't girdled so I was a little concerned at the time, about driving over the crankshaft. Lots of guys going faster than that now on a stock 109 block with good parts and a good tune. I'm sure you can go mid 10's at 26 lbs. boost. :) ;)

Our track here is at 3500 ft. with air quality regularily around 4700 to 5200 ft. most of the time.

I was running a 3500 stall N/L.

Good luck with your project. Have fun.

George

A double ball bearing Innovative 70 P-trim spools just fine with 3200 stall. :)
