Biggie oil filter adapter

My buick will be here from the Shipping company on Sunday most likely. I have a biggie oil filter adapter and a load of mobil 1 filters ready. Here's the dumb question. To remove the old oil filter threaded stalk, does it use a hex key in the center or just a standard nut style that you can use a deep socket on? I don't have the car yet and will be doing this as soon as I get it. Just wanted to know if I would need a special tool to remove the old one. Thanks.

RJC [the biggie oil filter adapter manufacturer] will have this info on his site. It's a simple 'unbolt' procedure and 'rethread-on' with the adapter. It's around 27mm I think. DO NOT overtighten this piece!!!!! nuf said.
