hello people: First off I have snot been smoking the high test lately but I do believe my 86T idles better with the 180 stat. 5.6 TT chip. I did put in a new heater control valve and dual fans at the same time but that would snot effect idle. My coolant temp. is high 170's and a bit into the 180's. No summer heat test and that's coming.
That will be a test.

hello peoples: I have snot really tested my 86T with the 180 stat but yesterday I did a bit. Ambiant air close to 80 and not humid but the coolant temp stayed at a high of 182 . I left it idling for a bit and that's where it stayed. I still might get the 5.6 reprogramed. We'll see. Right now the car is covered in pollen even in the engine bay.

Yes, also interested In coolant temps with AC on. I have a 160 stat and mine has been running 190-205 in stop and go traffic and 195-200 cruising on the interstate at 70 mph. That’s with the AC blasting. Our daily temps have been running 95-97 deg in central Florida.

hello peoples: I took my 86T out today after work. Ambient temp. low 80's and humid but nothing like the humidity that has been lately. Driving mostly stop and go traffic AC on full. I did hit a high of 190 with the spal fans working. I did give it a little gas every now and then when I could. Mostly the coolant temp was about 182. I believe the car idles better with the 180 but who knows.
