I just bought a set of five gta wheels. I have four rears and one front. What I want to end up with is either 4 fronts or two rears and two fronts. Im willing to trade around or sell .Could anyone tell me how I would make these gta
wheels properly fit a 86 gn? I know its popular to run four fronts or two rears and two fronts, does anyone have a
front wheel and need a rear wheel? if so maybe we could trade?

4 fronts is the best route to go. some run rears with a spacer, i"m not to big on spacers though. good luck

Yeah that seems to be the generally accepted way to go. I guess I should be asking what is the best way to make four rear wheels work? I have heard lots of configarations such as 4 fronts, two rears on front and two fronts on
rear and just all rears. I found a great deal on these wheels close to me on good old cl and hopefully I can make
these work since I have 4 rears and one front(which I plan to use as a spare) What size spacers should I get if I decide to go this route? what problems might I encounter?

not sure on spacer size. i think some have used 5/16 on frt to use rear wheels. i dont think rears will fit on the rear unless a bolt on spacer is used. maybe someone with more knowledge on this will chime in

That was kind of my line of thinking only use bolt on spacers for each wheel. I had a s10 one time that had them on it when I bought it and I
never had any issues. I think its kind of wierd how the front wheels have a deeper dish than the rears. You can def tell as I did get
one front wheel with the other 4 rears. Maybe I can just find another front wheel, put them on the back and run bolt on spacers in the front for the rears.

Wheels

I run ta wheels on my car. You can run 4 fronts or, fronts on front, no spacers. Rears on rear with a 1 1/4" spacer bolted to the drum, then bolt the wheel to the spacer. I have a brand new pair of spacers for $75.00 plus the ride. Try to find 1 more front. Rears on front require a 5/16 spacer and longer front wheel studs. Good luck.

I think I have a line on another front wheel. The wierd thing is that the fronts have a deeper dish and should look better in the rear,
would it work to use those spacers u have to run the rear wheels in the front and not look too stupid. should I expect vibration or is it smooth. what configaration do u run

Yes I have been scoping that site and it has some great info on it also. I looked at those spacers, someone on ebay sells them,
gnpowermasters I think. I think to really nail the look I need to do two fronts on the rear and two rears on the front. I do think that
those bolt on adapters-spacers are the way to go to make the rears in the front work. at least I already have one front wheel and 4
rear ones. Ill just buy some bolt on spacers for the front and find another front wheel for the back.

I have 6 reconditioned (like brand new) GTA rears in boxes that came with the white car I bought. Been thinking about selling them. Only car I would put them or would fit on would be Thumper but already have Simmons FR 17's on there.

I think I just found two more front gta wheels on car-part.com.Im ordering them as we speak. so now I will only need one more.

that is the best way to go. i bought a whole set,re sold the rears and got ttwo more fronts. so all 4 fronts. i then bought two more fronts and put 275/55/16 M&H drag radials on them
