just my preference but i think doing a rolling race with the horn honking thing is freaking stupid.

The vid proved nothing. And I totally agree with you - a rolling race from a horn blow is so NOT racing. Line them up at the tree on a good track and THAT will be racing.

Of course, the Mustang will lose by an even larger margin but we already know that.

12's with a blown 05 mustang? HA! I've still got the stock turbo on my car and I've ran 12.20's. Those guys at SVT get all pissy. Face it the GN still owns the roads.

I don't know if I would go that far. I do agree that is a poor time for a blown 05 which is probably in need of tuning. I had a 99 GT with a ITS T-76 that handed out many severe beatings. It ran 10s on 93 octane and would trap 121 mph with only 12 psi. It's well documented in 04/01 MM&FF in case someone thinks I'm just lowing smoke.

I enjoy owning the 87 GN much more, but a V8 with a T-76 just makes brutal power with boost numbers below 17 psi. I hope with the mods I have now that the GN will trap in the mid/high 1-teens.

I know the GN on this video. His motor was built by the same guy that built mine. Same combo as me except he has 212/212 roller cam and 70 turbo. Should run mid-low 10s tuned and loaded. Bob.

Its so funny that those guys are so worried about the sound!!! I think our cars sound like sh*t too!! They funny thing is that our cars all sound different at least. I can hear any year, pretty much any build Mustang from the other side of town and know exaclty what it is. Yes, they do sound tough, but thats all those guys care about!! No offense to those fellow Buick guys who own a stang or a Harley but it seems to me that all they care about is being loud. My friend and I were driving down the road past Hooters the other day and here comes to guy flying out of the parking lot on their Harleys. They sat there at the stop light and revved the piss out of those bikes. These guys were tippikle gelled hair, Harley clothes, preppy punks who had no idea how to take care of their bikes. Both bikes smoked blue smoke like a chimney!!! It seems like "most" and I dont mean "all" of these Mustang and Harley guys only own them to look cool and be noticed. Anybody else notice this?? Again, not bashing all Harley and Mustang owners but I have just noticed this over the years!!! -----Jeremy

Speeds8erM-1 "It's hard to line up even when one car is brake boosting!"

Yeah, I know how hard it is to line my car up AT SPEED and "brake boost" it!

You can brake boost from a roll....

I talked to the guy that ownes it today. He said he was just trying to break it in slowly he only had a couple hundred miles on it. Most of that was just driving around that night. the guy that ownes the Mustang ownes some kind of speed shop around here. Its suppose to have around 450-480 hp. But buy the end of the night he said he was running around 21 pounds of boost.

All we care about it going fast, loud is just a by-product somtimes. :D

It should be noted that the GN spun and that is why it let off and got back on it.
Just in case that wasn't clear

I think sometimes, they use the wrong poweradder. He should have posted this link.

or this one.

03 Cobra with TT setup.
twin 57's , 21 lbs of boost , 17 degrees of timing, inlet temps were way hot(102 degrees), just wait till they redyno this thing on a cooler day. 100% daily driver street car. Wait until it's on C16. 740 rwhp & 660 rwtq. I don't believe the valve covers have been off.

Here is the Dyno sheet.
