Blown motor or oil pump issue

How can I tell if motor is Blown? Dropped oil pan. No metal. Took oil pump cover off. Some scoring on cover. Would metal be present if motor is Blown? Can the pick up tube be stopped up with sludge? Thank you in advance.

Did the pin come out of the cam sensor?

Pin was replaced a few weeks ago. I can feel the oil pump gear with shaft grabbing something when I push it back in

It's a heli cut gear so it should engage the cam gear and turn Alil as you push it down . Also have you tried to prime it with a dril and see if u get pressure ?

We've tried a similar trick. My stepson is going to post a clip of it running

Okay have you done a leak down test ? Compression test ? A leak down will tell you a lot of information

No we haven't. We will have to have it towed to rcg

I wouldn't start it with no oil pressure
