And I hear the LS2 coming for 2005 is an absolute bear.

I ran into a 2005 Vette the other day. Damn - you could barely hear it running. Those SBCs are so advanced now - hell - it's like they GM raided a spaceship...

:D

That is hot for sure. My thoughts on the new GTO are they are so similar to the views everyone had about the GN's. Many still think the GN's are a Monte Carlo. In that realm they are in the same boat. I am not a fan of the new GM, but the GTO is one I would buy without a blink of the eye.
It's great to see a new generation of perfomance rear wheel drive cars coming out of GM. I know I will get flamed for this, but to be totally honest in my view, the new GTO is this generations GN.
Maybe we can get some of the heavy hitters with the new goats to show at next year's events and have some heads up with them. You know, teach the new kid on the block what he has to grow up to be.

I can not wait until the turbo kit comes out.

Yep PTK is also going to make one for the Caddy CTS-V if I'm not mistaken....

I've heard there's a good bit more left in that car. ;)

I'm sure there is.... Think they said they want it to run high 9's on the BFGs and at full weight...

Very nice. Everyone complained because the car was so plain looking. I like it that way. The interior is decent and the exterior isnt to radical. Im sure they will come out with a "Judge" version in the next year of two that will have the visually estetics that people want. Can't wait.

The CTS V is another great muscle car from the General. Awesome car !

After 6 months of ownership, I still smile everytime I get out of that car, and it is also great to be driving a manual 6 speed for a change. Whole different experince from the GN.

CTS-V seems to be an incredible car. Wouldn't mind the GTO either. If these things don't sell too well, I might pick one up cheap in a couple of years. The analogy to the Gn is a good one. Comfortable 4 seater and a great platform for upgraded performance.
